Dear Friends and Stakeholders,
Rural Iowa is under severe economic pressure. Iowa’s farmers are the core fiber of our great country and work endless hours to put food on our table and gas in our tanks; they should not be selling their corn at a loss… PERIOD. Rather they have earned and deserve access to ultra-low carbon ethanol markets who are willing to pay a premium for their products.
Our project will fix this dilemma while securing: (i) durable economic prosperity for rural Iowa and (ii) significantly bolstering the United States’ energy independence and national security dominance.
Over the past several months, our team has been actively engaged across Iowa—meeting with landowners, local leaders, industry partners and the opposition to listen, learn, and strengthen our path forward. Since stepping into this role, I’ve had the opportunity to hear directly from many of you, and those conversations are shaping how we approach the project today.
We continue to invest in this work because we believe it’s just the right thing to do. At the core of our approach are two simple beliefs: safety is our number one priority, and this project moves forward through partnerships. We are focused on breakthroughs, not breakdowns—working alongside landowners, local leaders, and stakeholders to find solutions that work for everyone involved. This mindset led to the adoption of our Community and Landowner Partnership Program and is guiding our commitments and every step we take.
With the conclusion of Iowa’s legislative session, I believe it is now time for the Iowa Utilities Commission to act and schedule the final hearing on our project. We can’t do this alone. Your voices matter, and they make a difference. If you share my thoughts on the critical importance of this project and the opportunities it creates for agriculture and rural Iowa, now is the time to make your voice heard with the Commission. A clear message—that it’s time to move forward.
Thank you for your continued partnership, your input, and your willingness to engage with us. We’re committed to doing this the right way, together.
Sincerely,
